As quick as a photographer’s shutter speed at the end of the runway, TOM* FW16 came to a close. The lights dim and the sound of stilettos fade from 444 Yonge street. Let’s go back and revisit the final night of TO and celebrate the designers who gave us a spectacular finale.
Since I first moved to Toronto, I have seen almost every collection by Designer Christopher Bates. Over the years, I have watched his art grow with each of his signature lipstick-kissed collars. I must say that this season at TOM* has been my favorite collection to date! Bates really brought a taste of Milan Fashion Week flare to Toronto. Every piece of this collection was unique yet still told a very cohesive story! I can’t wait to get my hands on some of the fabrics he chose this season!
